The wait for our new Rosé is over – a luscious yet dry Provence style, the latest Coal Pit release epitomises elegance. 

Brilliant light rose in colour, with enticing aromas of wild strawberries, watermelon and white peach followed by a decadent crème brûlée depth. A vibrant and lingering dry finish, set against the schist-driven minerality for which Coal Pit is renowned. A refined and versatile wine with or without food.

Adorned with another iconic Chris Heaphy label, the use of a Huia feather & Ngirungiru (South Island Tomtit) embodies the spirit, mana and guardianship of Maori. This powerful artwork simultaneously represents what we as New Zealanders have lost and what we must do to protect and enhance our environment.

 Our Rosé is made from 100% handpicked Pinot Noir grapes and famously sells out before Summer arrives. Order early to avoid disappointment.
