Coal Pit Open Day 2023
Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting our Coal Pit friends and family for an open day at the vineyard. It was a beautiful summer afternoon in Central Otago filled with great wine, great food and great company.
Rosie, Hugo and Anika led our guests through a tour of the vineyard, where they had the opportunity to wander the vines and learn about Coal Pit’s history and winemaking in the region, and how our passion for sustainability and authenticity drives everything we do. From there, Anika and Kate treated everyone to wine tastings from our current releases, past trophy winners, and specialty back vintage wines. The day finished with a delicious lunch spread, lawn games and the opportunity to connect with Rosie, our wonderful team and each other.
To everyone who joined us, thank you for spending your afternoon with us in Gibbston. It was a pleasure to share our place and passion with you all. We look forward to hosting more unforgettable experiences for years to come.
