Central Otago experienced an incredibly favourable growing season, resulting in high-quality fruit for the 2024 harvest.
Crafted from hand-picked fruit, grown on 25+ year old vines at our elevated single vineyard in Gibbston. Barrel fermentation with regular lees stirring imparts texture and palate weight, beautifully complementing the exotic fruit profile.
Delicate aromas of white florals, jasmine and Kaffir lime leaf sit in harmony with hints of citrus sherbet and fresh Thai basil. Crisp green apple and gently roasted summer stone fruit broaden the flavour profile, while a fine, creamy texture is seamlessly woven through the palate. Ripe, balanced fruit is underpinned by a focused white stone minerality, characteristic of the Coal Pit vineyard and extending the length of this poised and elegant wine.
Drink now or allow this to develop in the cellar for 2-5 years to allow a multi layered textural element to emerge.
